On December 3, 2025, Center for Materials Innovation & Technology (CMIT) welcomed Professor Sir Konstantin ‘Kostya’ Novoselov, Nobel Prize laureate and VinFuture Prize Council member, for a comprehensive strategic consultation. The session included meetings with the center’s Director, Professor Phan Manh Huong, together with principal investigators and postdoctoral researchers, where Sir Novoselov engaged with the team to discuss current projects and future directions.Sir Novoselov reviewed ongoing faculty projects, offering valuable insights and professional recommendations that help shape the center’s research priorities. The visit concluded with a laboratory tour of CMIT’s working facilities and the innovative smart charging platform project, where Sir Novoselov observed the center’s active research programs and results of the faculty innovation.
